Peony Pavilion is based on historical heritage and characteristic culture of Yongjia (Chinese Ming dynastic history) and love as its soul to write the grand epic of the Chinese nation.
It tells that Du Liniang died of lovesickness and was buried under a plum tree in the back garden. Liu Mengmei found Du Liniang's self-painted portrait, and she was deeply attached to the person in the painting, and Du Liniang's soul came to meet him.
It was a combination of virtual and real performance techniques, breaking the boundary between the stage and the audience area.
To some extent, people have left a deep impression on this vivid legend due to the integration of lighting, dancing and comedy elements.
